Pinang Chili Crab


5 red onion onion, diced
2.8 garlic cloves
5cm piece ginger, peeled
4 small whole red chilli
5.100ml olive oil
5 medium cooked crab, cleaned, cut into large pieces
7.5tbsp sweet chilli sauce
5tbsp tomato ketchup
sugar, salt, W.Vinegar, black pepper crushed, Squid gravy & sesame oil to taste
Chopped spring onion, Coriander leaves and sliced red chilli for garnishing.


1.Process the onion, garlic, ginger and chilli to a smooth paste.
2.Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Add chilli paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until
3.fragrant, add the crab stir-fry to coat.
4.Add the sweet chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and season to taste & stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
5.or until well combined and hot.
6.64 Serve the chilli crab sprinkled with spring onion coriander and sliced chilli.
