U.S. Potatoes Junior Chef Culinary Training

The U.S. Potatoes Junior Chef Culinary Training was successfully held on 11 June 2026 at Bayu Hall, Level 2, Ascott Gurney Penang, bringing together aspiring culinary professionals aged 25 and below for an afternoon of learning, inspiration, and professional development.

Organized to promote the versatility and culinary applications of premium U.S. potatoes, the training session featured two distinguished industry professionals, Chef Audee Cheah and Chef Jason Manson, who shared their extensive expertise, practical techniques, and valuable industry insights with participants. Through engaging presentations and culinary demonstrations, attendees gained a deeper understanding of innovative potato-based dishes, menu development, and contemporary cooking methods.

The four-hour program, held from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, provided an excellent platform for young chefs to enhance their technical knowledge, exchange ideas with fellow culinary professionals, and learn from experienced mentors. The session reflected a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of culinary talent while encouraging creativity, professionalism, and continuous learning within the industry.
